DAIRY FARM
EDDIE ADAMS WORKSHOP XXXIII
The EAW XXXIII may have been virtual for the first time in 2020 due to COVID, but the silver lining by not having it in person was having weekly zoom meetings with our teams starting a month and a half before the workshop and being able to stay in the UK to shoot. The theme was “Hope 2020,” and we were allowed to interpret it however we wanted. Everyone’s work during the final show was incredible, and it was amazing to be a part of this workshop.
Lawns Farm, located outside of Sheffield, England, had its business increase by 30% due to COVID. As a family-run business, they do all the production [of milk] and sales themselves, allowing them to set their prices, which in turn, has prevented their farm from having to go based on store prices. When grocery stores went out of stock for dairy products, Lawns was still delivering milk and meat products to customers daily. With sales rising, the last few months have been busier than ever.
