The way we use light in photography is crucial, especially in portraits. The slightest change can manipulate the photograph in an entirely different way. Light gives depth and allure to photos, and I must take the extra seconds to get it right. In addition to light, connecting with your subjects is the next important thing. Taking the time to have a conversation throughout the shoot and learn about them can make a huge impact on how the photos turn out.
